Talent Management Specialist jobs in Texas

The Talent Management Compliance Specialist is responsible for coordinating, managing and assisting on multiple Talent Management processes, compliance reporting, as well as record retention of all team member documents.

• Interact with various departments to provide or gather team member documentation as requested
• Interact with various departments and former team members to provide rehire status as requested
• Preparation of documents, coordination with all locations in response to all unemployment claims, appeals and hearings for Texas and NM.
• Assist Compliance Manager with reviewing background checks
• Oversee the weekly mailing process between the Talent Management Department and the stores
• Prepare, scan and accurately index all team member file documentation
• Update existing physical files as necessary: scan terminated files, scan physical files to eliminate paperwork, accurately maintain non-scannable file documentation
• Coordinate and advise on Ascend filing process for team member files under direction of Compliance Manager
• Serve as a GHR Infor resource to include store support, troubleshooting and some project management
• Assist with monthly reporting in partnership with the Compliance Manager
• Assist with and update various Talent Management systems in cooperation with Compliance Manager
• Assist in coordinating regional training meetings and events
• Serve as back-up administrator for all Talent Management Coordinators
• Assist with Form I-9 compliance and employment authorization processes
• Assist with break coverage for office receptionist
Perform other duties as requested or required by upper management

Key Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• General knowledge of office procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Specifically Excel
• Accuracy to detail essential while performing repetitive duties and processing heavy volume of paperwork
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Maturity in handling confidential information
• Must have ability to multitask, work independently, manage time efficiently and meet deadlines
• Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
• Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
