Teacher Kindergarten prepares lessons and instructs students in an assigned elementary school's kindergarten. Develops and implements activities to meet the academic, developmental, and social needs of children in kindergarten classroom setting. Being a Teacher Kindergarten monitors and guides classroom behavior. Resolves classroom issues and conflicts. Additionally, Teacher Kindergarten assesses and documents students' progress. Participates in development and implementation of Individual Education Plans for specific students. May participate in implementing special programs for students. May supervise teaching assistants. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require state-specific teaching license. Typically requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Typically reports to a principal. The Teacher Kindergarten occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Ngā Tamariki Puāwai o Tāmaki Auckland Kindergarten Association, is looking for a qualified registered ECE kaiako in our Wesley Kindergarten.
We are open to new teachers or perhaps you are returning back to work as AKA operates on very similar terms as primary schools, meaning you have a break over the school holidays.

Wesley Kindergarten is currently looking for a part time, Monday to Friday (20 hours) ECE Kaiako to join us to help us contribute to the high level of service that we are proud to provide our local community.
