Technical Producer - Web acts as a liaison for the creative web content team and the IT technical team. Develops the technical specifications for the website. Being a Technical Producer - Web plans and reviews the navigational user interface design. Plans and reviews site architecture for new website products and features. Additionally, Technical Producer - Web troubleshoots, tests and oversees the launch of new products. Coordinates among cross-functional groups to identify challenges and recommends and implements solutions. Knowledgeable about commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field (i.e., HTML, JAVA, Mac, UNIX and Windows platforms). May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. The Technical Producer - Web works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. M1 - DOEAssociates degree in a course of study related to the occupational field. Post-secondary education or experience which provides the expertise required to effectively perform the functions of the position may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
Three years of experience in the occupational field, sufficient to understand the major duties of the position. Relevant experience includes performing work in an IT field; specifically help desk, scripting, desktop publishing, programming, ESRI hub site administration, network administration and/or performing professional duties that demonstrate familiarity with markup languages or scripting.
