Technical Recruiter attracts, evaluates, and refers candidates for technical positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting, search firms and other sourcing methods. Understands requirements for technical positions, develops job advertisements and screens resumes/applications. Being a Technical Recruiter contacts candidates to ascertain fit, and schedules interviews. Extends offers and negotiates compensation. Additionally, Technical Recruiter initiates onboarding plan for new hires. Ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Technical Recruiter occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Security Clearance:

    Must be a US Citizen eligible for a DoD Secret Clearance.

    Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense (DoD) active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

    Summary:

    Recruitment services that may include marketing job opportunities to generate candidate interest, screening applicants based on qualifications; coordinating interviews with the hiring manager; coordinating background checks; administering tests; verifying references; facilitating hiring paperwork; and reporting progress and results.

    Responsibilities:

    • Recruit top IT candidates and serve as the main point of contact throughout the entire recruiting cycle
    • Build and maintain relationships with candidates including outbound calling to match them with open positions
    • Understand our clients’ business and IT initiatives, as well as their specific technical and cultural environments to best match the candidates with their hiring needs
    • Negotiate unique compensation packages (wages, benefits, etc.) to attract and hire candidates for our clients’ needs
    • Other duties as assigned

    Job Requirements:

    Requirements:

    Candidates must be US citizens who meet or exceed the following minimum qualifications:

    • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
    • Suitable for federal employment
    • At least 18 years old
    • High school diploma or equivalent with additional post-high school education
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Able to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check
    • No criminal record
    • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test
    • Physically fit and able to pass a medical exam (if applicable)
    • Able to obtain a secret clearance
    • Able to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
    • Able to comply with Navy rules and regulations

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor’s Degree OR Military experience OR Associates Degree and at least 3 years of professional experience OR 4 years of professional experience in a customer facing role
    • Knowledge of EEO and other recruiting best practices.
    • Enthusiasm to network and build strong relationships with others while maintaining high ethical standards
    • The ability to work in a team environment and the ability to relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills that are leveraged to seek out others’ perspectives by asking good questions
    • An eagerness to learn is necessary with enthusiasm to experiment to find best possible solutions

    Physical Requirements:

    Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 50 lbs.
