Technical Trainer creates and conducts technical training programs. Determines training objectives. Being a Technical Trainer writes training programs, including outline, text, handouts, and tests, and designs laboratory exercises. Lectures on the safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of software, machinery, and equipment. Additionally, Technical Trainer administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Technical Trainer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. The Technical Specialist will be responsible for delivering OEM Marine training courses. This position will provide coaching, technical expertise and encouragement while allowing students structured opportunities to develop their own proficiency. This position is for a Flex instructor and hours will vary depending on course schedules.
