GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the EDT-Engineering Design Tech department at Greenville Technical College.
The Academic Program Director is responsible for the overall supervision, administration, and support of the Engineering Design Technology Program. The purpose of this position includes maintaining program integrity, excellence and ongoing development of all assigned educational programs and assuring positive program outcomes. Duties involve instruction; administration; program assessment; personnel management; and fiscal accountability. The individual reports to the Department Head of Engineering Technology. If appointment is made at the instructor level the expectation for performance will be similar to include instruction, assessment and some program administration; however, supervisory activities will not be expected with appointment at said level. Other duties as assigned.
NOTE: This position will deliver primarily face-to-face instruction at the Barton Campus. This is NOT an Online teaching appointment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in engineering with experience in college teaching and/or similar industry training.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree in engineering and/or an active Professional Engineers (PE) license and a bachelors degree in engineering; minimum of five (5) years of college teaching and/or industrial training; minimum of five (5) years of CAD experience. Familiar with industrial applications and has recent experience in computer added drafting and design work environment.
