Telecommunications Director is responsible for the strategic planning and design of an organization's telecommunications systems. Develops policies and procedures for installing and maintaining telecommunications equipment. Being a Telecommunications Director plans and manages complex installation or repair projects. Assesses current and future telecommunications needs and researches and plans improvements to meet those requirements. Additionally, Telecommunications Director trains and develops staff. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Telecommunications Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Telecommunications Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Job Summary
    We are seeking an experienced Director to join our team! As the Director, you will be responsible for selecting age-appropriate programs, activities, and curricula for the children in our care. You will also support the current staff, manage scheduling and office supplies, bring positive communication to the team, and implement new strategies to grow and expand our outreach. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of child development and education, and experience managing staff.

    Responsibilities
    • Support The Goddard School accredited curriculum based on each classroom’s needs and programs
    • Ensure that we are always in compliance with Goddard, NAEYC and state regulations, as well as with the Department of Education
    • Train and manage staff
    • Assist classrooms through observations, support and training
    • Review and approve all lesson plans, printed materials, bulletin announcements, and newsletters
    • Plan extra-curricular activities, including in-house entertainment and field trips or destinations
    • Manage a school budget for overall operations
    Qualifications
    • The required licensing/certification to perform this role
    • 3 Years past experience working with children
    • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree
    • Demonstrated experience managing a team
    • Deep understanding of childcare, child development, and education
