Telecommunications Director is responsible for the strategic planning and design of an organization's telecommunications systems. Develops policies and procedures for installing and maintaining telecommunications equipment. Being a Telecommunications Director plans and manages complex installation or repair projects. Assesses current and future telecommunications needs and researches and plans improvements to meet those requirements. Additionally, Telecommunications Director trains and develops staff. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Telecommunications Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Telecommunications Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. We currently have Telecommunications Service Technician opportunities in the New Hampshire and Massachusetts areas. The Telecommunications Service Technician will report to the Service Manager, but will work with other Technicians and the Service Coordinator on a regular basis. The Service Technician must have a strong work ethic and a flexible attitude to be successful in this role, in addition, they must have an acute ability to solve problems effectively, on-site, with little supervision. Our Telecommunications Service Technicians are troubleshooters, problem-solvers, and customer relations specialists, in addition to being proficient cable technicians.

Ideally, candidates should meet our current requirements for Dedicated Technician, Lead Technician, and Foreman level positions. This means the ability to install, terminate, and test various types of data cables, as well as exhibit the leadership traits expected of employees in those positions.
