Oversees telecommunications projects and outside plant technical services staff performing cable staking, design, and count assignments – both aerial and buried, construction, engineering and design.

Job Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of Telecommunications Experience
Minimum of 5 years of Outside Plant Engineering, Design, and Construction Oversight.
Minimum of 5 years of RUS Construction Specifications and Construction Contracts and reporting.
Skills and Abilities
Extensive knowledge in the Telecommunications field is necessary; requires the ability to effectively organize and direct the work of others; strong management and decision-making skills necessary; the ability to exercise judgment; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, clients, and staff; ability to analyze needs and recommend solutions; effective communications skills necessary both internally and externally as well as oral and written; must be comfortable with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk and/or stand long periods of time on even and uneven ground; ability to drive a lengthy period of time as well as sporadically throughout the ten-hour workday; ability to work outside in varying temperatures; ability to stoop & bend frequently while in the field; some light to medium lifting occasionally; ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in written form.
