Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions. Being a Test Engineer assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs. Documents and analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Additionally, Test Engineer ensures testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards. Requires a bachelor's degree of Engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Test Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Summary:
Responsible for engineering efforts needed to successfully process product through the Test and Burn-In departments to include, but not limited to, the design and development of all necessary test hardware and software. Help maintain and control the use of the Automated Test Equipment (ATE), standard bench test equipment, ovens, and other department equipment used within the Test and Burn-In departments.
