Campaign Sales Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The Campaign Sales Manager (CSM) is responsible for managing various Channel Methods sales campaigns to success while managing the Business Development Representatives responsible for driving daily sales activities around campaigns, while also instilling a strong culture of KPI’s, using well-developed metrics and scalable sales methodologies. The Campaign Sales Manager will drive business by managing the BDR’s to not only consistently drive opportunities but will also grow and mentor the Team. Involvement in customer/prospect relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction are essential to be successful in this role. The Campaign Sales Manager will create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement. The CSM will instill a “play to win” attitude in all areas of the campaign sales organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Management of a team of Business Development Representatives as part of the responsibility for driving campaign leads and success for CMP
· Responsible for generating campaign leads/opportunities with BDR Team
· Develop relationships with campaign clients
· Educate BDR’s on various campaign value propositions and solutions (How to sell and position)
· Support BDR lead generation/selling efforts – identify prospect “Client Champions”
· Establish and expand relationships with “C-Level” decision makers within prospect organizations
· Develop and execute a business plans to grow newly assigned campaigns w/BDR’s
· CSM’s need to work to develop and improve upon existing campaigns to meet organizational goals and objectives
· Partner with internal CMP key stakeholders to identify/implement effective go-to-market strategies for campaigns
· Work with BDR’s to provide an exceptional experience, ‘white glove’ service for assigned campaigns
· Consistent attainment of lead generation quota, daily/monthly KPI targets for the BDR Team
· Attain daily, weekly, and quarterly CMP company and commercial sales organization imperatives with assigned BDR team
· Shadow daily outbound calling activities for established campaigns to provide ‘just in time’ coaching and development for the BDR’s
· Coordinate resources within sales and other departments to achieve objectives
· Maintain and update team sales plans, account and opportunity data within company systems as directed, including Salesforce
· Participate in weekly/monthly pipeline forecasting, account reviews, quarterly business reviews
· Complete administrative work as required
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL
· Consistent track record of success managing teams and selling technology/SaaS/Cloud solutions (Selling into Life Sciences organizations is highly desirable.)
· Demonstrated consistent persistence and drive to achieve organizational/company goals
· Life Sciences industry experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech and/or medical device space
· Experience with complex, consultative, multi-stakeholder sales/lead generation
· Experience launching new sales activities around new products/campaigns
· Driven individual who enjoys collaborating and is willing to continue to learn given the evolving life sciences landscape
· Excellent organizational, time management skills, ability to multi-task
· Self-motivated, able to assume team responsibility and work in a professional team environment
· Ability to gain C-Level credibility, understand organizational political dynamics and competitive awareness
· Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
· Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business or Computer Science preferred, or equivalent relevant sales & educational experience
