    Your Opportunity

    As a Medical Account Executive your primary responsibility is to increase sales and generate growth across multiple product lines. You will accomplish this by prospecting, following marketing leads and market trends, and coordinating activities with sales, marketing, and customer satisfaction across territories in your assigned markets.


    This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories)


    What You’ll Do

    • Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales of medical information products and services to hospitals, medical schools, and other healthcare institutions.
    • Create and generate activity in direct selling situations through telephone, email, and virtual meetings in partnership with your outside sales representative.
    • Provide and coordinate demos for customers.
    • Understand the competitive landscape and how to target and sell against competition, and understand and participate in customized product offerings and pricing
    • Effectively and efficiently use multiple contact and account management tools
    • Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers at healthcare institutions, including librarians, information specialists, and procurement managers.
    • Meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets, and revenue goals, and managing a pipeline of sales opportunities from identification through to close.
    • Keeping accurate and current records, and meeting activity metrics of customer interactions and sales activities using EBSCO's sales management tools and systems.

    You will be welcomed as a member of the Medical Sales team, a team of about 40 people as well as members of the Sales and Marketing teams.     About You

    • 5 years of sales experience in relatable industries
    • 5 years of proven sales track record achieving sales milestones and target goals

    Our Offer to You

    Target Annual Compensation Range: $61,880 - $88,400

    This Pay Target range includes a typical sales commission. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
