Additionally, Top Diversity Executive makes any necessary changes or adjustments to ensure compliance and sensitivity to the needs of all employees. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Top Diversity Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. The DEI Manager will work in partnership with VEIC leaders and staff at all levels to cultivate a workplace culture that embodies diversity, equity, and inclusion. This role will also support VEIC’s ability to reach more customers by ensuring equity and access are core to VEIC’s program design. This role will be responsible for applying principles of equity and inclusion in operational policies and practices and supports VEIC in setting and achieving meaningful and targeted goals. The DEI Manager will facilitate and partner with key stakeholders to implement VEIC’s comprehensive DEI strategy recently developed in partnership with an external DEI consultant. VEIC’s commitment to DEI has been part of its DNA since its founding, and the DEI Manager will be instrumental in continuing to advance VEIC’s vision, mission, culture, and impact.
