The Receptionist will act as first contact for the University's Division of Human Resources (HR). They will interact with diverse individuals at all levels. The HR Receptionist will receive and direct visitors, respond to incoming calls, answer questions, route calls and take messages. Utilize discretion when working with highly confidential and sensitive matters. Maintain reception area and copy room making sure printed materials are up to date and appropriately stocked. Maintain conference room calendar.

Maintain conference room calendar.
Stay up to date on the University's policies and procedures.
Maintain reception area and conference room. Make sure materials and paper are stocked and reorder when necessary.
Train temporary employees when necessary for extended coverage.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
A High School Diploma or GED and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Ability to interact with diverse client base at all levels. Understand sense of urgency and have the ability to prioritize. Strong oral communications skills. Act with discretion when dealing with highly confidential and sensitive matters in highly visible area. Familiarity with University policies and procedures preferred.
