Top Foundation Executive develops and leads the vision, strategic planning, financial management, fundraising, and grantmaking operations that support the overall objectives of a foundation. Sets the overall goals for fundraising campaigns and program initiatives. Being a Top Foundation Executive represents the foundation to the public and media to communicate its mission, values, and accomplishments. Maintains positive relationships with foundation stakeholders, including the board of directors, grantees, community leaders, donors, and prospective donors. Additionally, Top Foundation Executive oversees the budget, distribution of foundation funds, and investment strategies to ensure the financial sustainability required to fulfill the foundation's mission. Ensures all foundation activities comply with applicable laws, reporting requirements, and regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to board of directors or trustees. The Foundation Intern will have an opportunity to learn new skills and foster their abilities through providing support to the Foundation’s efforts. Specifically, they will be assisting with video editing, podcast recording, and other tasks to support the branding and fundraising of the Foundation including event assistance and other duties as assigned .
• Create, film, and edit videos to promote the ARH Foundation and it’s work in Appalachia to post on the web and social media sites
• Assist in planning a mix of short-form and long-form video content
• Help organizing, charging, and prepping camera equipment (GoPro) before film days
• Work directly with the ARH Foundation Coordinator to plan and implement a social media strategy
• Assist with face-to-face marketing at tables, programs, and events when needed
Education• Currently and undergraduate student at an accredited college or university majoring is Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations
Minimum Work Experience
• Must have experience in video editing
