Description
Leidos is hiring a Software Team Coordinator with an active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility to join the Air Force Technical Application Center (AFTAC) US National Data Center (US NDC) team!
The Software Team Coordinator will work side by side with the software, systems, database, hardware, and operations teams to design, implement, test, and deployment software for a mission critical system at will Patrick SFB, FL.
All work is on site at Patrick Air Force Base in Florida; only candidates with an active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility can be considered.
Primary Responsibilities
-
Coordinating software, database, and hardware development and change requests in an Agile DevSecOps CI/CD environment.

Perform Scrum Master duties and lead with engineering best practices to include planning, scheduling, status reporting, risk identification and management.

Coordinate planned system outages with appropriate stakeholders and update status.

Respond to unplanned support requests and system maintenance issues. Task appropriate team members and follow through to resolution.

Collaborate with other coordinators to manage personnel and schedule availability and assignments for multiple simultaneous effort.

Accountable for high complexity projects and results by ensuring relevant stakeholder involvement and ensuring technical feasibility to meet project scope and objectives.

Define and mitigate overall project risk through conflict and issue resolution with the project team and stakeholders. Keep stakeholders informed of project status and deliverables, as well as risk and mitigation strategies.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical leadership . Effectively communicate and manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders; oversee client communication as applicable to the project.
Basic Qualifications
-
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
-
BS in technical field with 4 years of related experience OR 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree

Experience with all aspects of the system development lifecycle.

Proven Agile software development experience.
-
Experience with Red Hat Linux.
-
Knowledge of software configuration management system and change management tools.
-
Experience managing small to mid-size IT projects in addition to operational support activities.
-
Knowledge of DoD processes, policies and guidance
-
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills to work in a team environment to include customer and contractor technical team members, end users, and management.
- Aptitude to learn new technologies and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Familiarity with software programming languages (i.e. Java or C), scripting languages (i.e. Python or Perl), and/or databases (Oracle RDBMS)
- Possess IAT Level II cybersecurity baseline certification (i.e. CompTIA Security certification).
- Experience with information security and information assurance aspects of systems and software.

Pay Range: Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00
