A little about us and why we need one-another:
About 100 years ago, a man named John Thurman Curry started out hauling luggage for travelers from the Parkersburg train station to their homes. He called his company JT Curry Moving. This was our humble beginning. Now, five generations later, and still a family business, we call ourselves Curry Warehouses. Because of our exacting standards, we are the premier third-party logistics company in the area. In fact, in the last year we have doubled our workforce. Keeping up with the human resources aspects of this growth has proven daunting without an HR professional onboard. Our workforce is expected to double again within the next year. We are looking for the right human resources professional to build our human resources department.
Important note: As part of their duties, the selected candidate will also assist the Chief Operations Officer as an executive assistant until such time that the human resources duties require full time attention. At that time, we will divide this single job into two separate positions: Human Resources Generalist and Executive Assistant.
