Top Inventory Control Executive oversees, plans, and directs all aspects of inventory management policies, objectives, and initiatives. Develops standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Being an Top Inventory Control Executive leads inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Develops and implements inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Additionally, Top Inventory Control Executive collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Inventory Control Executive manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Top Inventory Control Executive typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. The Ethernet Product team is in need of inventory and logistics support. This dynamic team supports the hardware side of networking products in multiple lab spaces onsite at Jones Farm.
Job duties include but are not limited to :
Run and maintain Inventory Control System (ISMP)
Identify and catalog items in an inventory control system
Track items in ISMP when they enter and leave the inventory room
Checking items in and out of inventory control that are in the lab spaces
Receive items from shipping and process into inventory control system
Ship servers, network cards, and other equipment to domestic and international sites
Assist with day to day lab operations
Requirements for this role are :
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Must be familiar with basic computer components and electronic parts.
Basic understanding of various testing equipment used in an electronics lab would be helpful but not a requirement.
