The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, and implementing process improvements. Duties:
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Coordinate with shipping and production teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Utilize specialized inventory control software to track inventory (SBI).
- Implement process improvements to enhance inventory management efficiency
- Oversee materials handling procedures to minimize loss or damage
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar role
- Familiarity with Annual, Perennial and Edible plants
- Proficiency in excel or other database tools
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes and best practices
- Experience in retail management or similar industry is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement
