SummerCollab co-creates youth programs that energize kids to love learning, play wildly and believe in the power of their unique talents. We envision a world filled with imaginative, confident young people who believe in their unique talents, intelligence and unlimited possibility. Our signature programs, Tyler’s Camp, Literacy Corps and the Community Mentor Network, provide new experiences and rich activities designed to narrow learning gaps in low income communities. We focus on cultivating self-worth, self-discovery, and meaningful human connection. Through these programs, kids learn to be vulnerable, persistent and curious while exploring new experiences. A side effect of this work is improved confidence, academic engagement and performance.
YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Executive Assistant provides support in a working relationship with the leadership team of SummerCollab. The Executive Assistant serves as a liaison to the board of directors and senior leadership teams; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects. The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Executive Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
This is a full time, year-round position. Salary is commensurate with experience, skills, education and training. Full time employees receive paid holidays, vacation, sick and personal days. The SummerCollab team works in a hybrid environment with work days spread between our office in Wilmington, Delaware, program sites throughout Delaware and work from home opportunities.
