JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Network Compensation Manager is responsible for the management of Compensation at the University of Vermont Health Network (UVMHN). Provides consultation to UVMHN management in all areas of compensation including organizational structure, job development and evaluation, career ladders, special compensation programs, compensation issues, and policy interpretation. Executes on strategic planning initiatives in each of these areas and helps develops specific programs and policies to meet organizational needs.
The manager oversees projects designed to increase efficiency and promote customer satisfaction, including education and awareness, program development and changes, vendor changes, software upgrades and implementations. The manager ensures compensation programs and their administration are compliant with statutory regulations.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources management, Business, or other related field, MBA preferred. Professional certification such as SPHR or CCP is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Five or more years of experience in human resources and compensation administration with exposure to large organizational settings. Proven knowledge of employee compensation plans and governing regulations. Progressive leadership experience is preferred.
