Trade Show Director develops and directs the overall strategic planning, budget, and execution of trade shows and exhibitions. Collaborates with stakeholders, sales, and marketing to develop the business objectives, concepts, deliverables, and timelines of a show. Being a Trade Show Director devises innovative solutions to enhance the impact of an event. Ensures detailed planning and execution of show and evaluates show outcomes based on established metrics for quality and attendance. Additionally, Trade Show Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Trade Show Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Trade Show Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     The Role

    The Trade Development Manager (TDM) will manage a set group of distributor partners within their assigned territory.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and ensure the execution of national and regional account strategies for all company products and achieve sales, profit, and market share objectives for all national and regional accounts and/or programs.
    • Develop, manage and/or maximize partnerships to drive improved performance.
    • Use objective tools, information, and feedback to establish region and area performance goals and results.
    • Participate in monthly sales meetings, either in person or virtually.
    • Conduct Monthly Planning and Review (MPR) meetings with all distributor leadership to track, monitor and adjust efforts and produce desired outcomes in all key business segments.
    • Ensure distributor executes on designed programs within IRi reporting chains.

    Key Skills and Experience Required

    • Outstanding sales experience and track record in CPG industry (Beverage Preferred)
    • Distributor and Supplier experience preferred
    • 3 years’ experience displaying dynamic leadership skills to manage and motivate third party sales teams preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills, including presentation and training ability
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Valid Driver’s License 

    Education Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

    Travel:

    • 50%
    • This position requires a clean driving record and authorization to obtain your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) upon receiving and accepting a job offer.
    • Valid driver’s license required
