The perfect candidate for the Center Manager position can talk to anyone, knows when to be quiet and when to ask questions. Huntington Learning Center has developed a tried and true system that is built to be flexible to meet each student's specific needs. Our Center Manager is responsible for following the system and ensuring that the teaching, meetings and sessions within the center meet quality standards.
This work requires a person to be accountable to a schedule and able to do many, differing tasks each day.
The manager is responsible for ensuring that every student who attends the center receives the best education possible.
The manager is responsible for developing and managing student programs, for training teachers and ensuring that each student has a program designed to meet his or her needs. By working with the Executive Director, the right candidate helps manage all inside center operations, to include: meeting with parents, marketing to schools and merchants, managing staff and teachers - ensuring center goals are met.
Must love working with people with an eye toward customer service and business management.

Job Requirements:
- Meet with parents/guardians and students to review progress
- Meet revenue, operational and marketing goals each month
- Meet with school teachers and other officials on behalf of students
- Administer initial evaluations and assist new students on their first day
- Assess and monitor student progress, carefully managing their individualized programs of instruction
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Participate in marketing, community and school-based outreach efforts
- Evening work hours; 4 day weeks, limited weekend work
The Ideal Candidate Must Possess:
- A four year degree - preferably in business, management, entrepreneurship or related field
- Confident and assertive communication skills with a professional and flexible demeanor
- Management, Sales/Customer Service experience desirable
- An enthusiastic, outgoing and team-oriented personality
- The motivation and compassion to ensure that a student's time at Huntington is valuable
- Teaching/tutoring experience is desirable, but not required
- A professional appearance and demeanor
- The ability to handle customer concerns in a calm and positive manner
- Strong commitment to help children succeed academically
Compensation/Benefits:
- Center Manager is compensated with a base salary commensurate with experience and ability. Goal-based bonuses, paid vacation and initial and ongoing training and support provided.

- Take on additional responsibilities for enrollment and other direct revenue-generating activities.
