Training Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate training programs aligned with the objectives and strategy of the company. Collaborates with functional management teams to assess ongoing and future training and development needs as well as effectiveness of established programs. Being a Training Director develops a program delivery schedule that provides training as needed and in locations that work for the participants. Provides engaging communications about program information to encourage participation and highlight the value and benefits of training. Additionally, Training Director approves new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs. Oversees and establishes relationships with vendors to provide additional outside training programs. Manages and develops training professionals. Requires a bachelor's degree. A regional Non-Profit in Northwest PA is recruiting an innovative Production/Business Services Operations Director to recruit, maintain, and supervise all Production (contract packaging and fulfillment) and Business Services (commercial janitorial, lawncare, CASS Certified Mailings, and document imaging and destruction) operations. This position is upper-level management supervised by the CEO. This position requires supervisory experience. This position assists the CEO by providing overall Marketing, Business Service Management, Production Management, and Building and Vehicle Management.
Duties will involve some, but little local travel, computer knowledge and activity, contract bidding, customer relations, and inventory management. Knowledge and/or training in basic OSHA and Wage & Hour regulations helpful.
Qualifications require an Act 34 Clearance, along with one of the following: A Bachelor’s Degree or above from an accredited college or university in Business or Engineering and 2 years work experience in industry and supervision. An Associates Degree or its’ equivalent from an accredited college or university in Business or Engineering and 6 years of work experience in industry and supervision. A high school diploma or GED with 10 years of work experience in industry and supervision.
