Truck Service Technician jobs in the United States

We have immediate openings for an experienced commercial truck mechanic to become an integral part of our team at our Columbus/Edinburgh IN location. We provide parts and services for light, medium, heavy duty vehicles, including: pick ups, Class 3-8 trucks, buses, RV's, SUV's, off road vehicles, emergency vehicles, trailers. Clean, modern, safe working conditions, drug free workplace. No nights or weekends. We offer a competitive hourly wage (no flat rate) plus monthly incentives.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose and repair various types of vehicles - paid training available as needed
• Perform routine maintenance for A/C, brakes, alignment, suspension, PM's, DOT inspections, general repair
• Be an integral part of a team atmosphere

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a commercial truck technician, mechanic, or other related fields
• CDL license helpful or willing and able to obtain (Paid for by us !)
• ASE certifications and bonus
• Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Experience:

• Diesel engine repair: 2 years (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)
