QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in applicable field (such as Environmental Sciences, Biology, Forestry, etc.) preferred plus two (2) or more years of experience in tree care and maintenance or other related work experience; or any combination of training, education, or experience which provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess International Society of Arboriculture Arborist Certification. The Municipal Specialist endorsement is required to be obtained within 12 months of hire. Possession of an Ohio Department of Agriculture Commercial Applicator License is preferred. Must hold a valid Ohio driver’s license and remain insurable under the city’s vehicle insurance policy.
