Job Description :
Study, understand, and educate WIC participants on approved foods and using the Approved Food Guide and WIC participant mobile app.
Serve as a local contact for stores.
Provide general, local oversight of and point-of-contact for WIC authorized stores in the service area.
Work with WIC participants and stores to address shopping difficulties and educate both parties to ensure more successful outcomes.
Contact store or go in person to check compliance with WIC requirements.
Perform monitoring visits and education buys as requested by the central office.
Assist the central office vendor team with semiannual price lists submitted by vendors.
Document and report serious store issues to the central office.
Participate in meetings as requested to streamline communication with the local agency, central office vendor team, and authorized WIC vendors.
