New Jersey Heart and Vein is an expanding Cardiology practice in Clifton, NJ.

We are seeking an experienced ultrasound technician to join our cardiology practice. The ideal candidate will have experience performing vascular and venous studies, and venous ablations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality patient care.

Experience with venous procedures- such as radiofrequency ablation, EVLT, and sclerotherapy is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic vascular and venous studies.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
• Review patient medical history and explain the procedure to the patient.
• Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate test results.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Participate in quality control and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure that all exams are performed in compliance with established protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree in Ultrasound Technology preferred.
• Current certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) required.
• Experience performing vascular and venous studies required.
• Proficient in the use of ultrasound equipment and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be detail-oriented and possess good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as required.
