We are looking for an experienced and reliable Cleaner to join our team. A Cleaner is responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the facility or office building. This can entail dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning smudges off windows and doors. Ensuring restrooms are cleaned, sanitized, and restocked is another important responsibility of a cleaner. A successful candidate will have experience cleaning office spaces, will be a self-starter, detailed-oriented and strong communicator.
Responsibilities:
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools
- Remove dirt, grime, and smudges from windows to ensure a streak-free shine
- Operate ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment to reach high windows
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when working at heights
- Communicate with clients to understand their specific window cleaning needs
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions from clients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and supplies
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in window cleaning or related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and custodial duties is a plus
- Ability to work at heights and comfortable using ladders, scaffolding, or other equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve streak-free results
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients in a professional manner
- Reliable transportation to travel between job sites
