Description
Southeastern Guide Dogs is looking for a Videographer/Editor to join the Online University team. The main function of this role is to plan, capture, and edit video to be used to create online trainings for clients and staff.
This is a full-time position located in Palmetto, Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Shoots professional, imaginative, and thoughtful video stories to support our mission.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts and Online University Director to execute projects.
- Collaborates with organizational teams to create and deliver powerful video components that inspire and engage.
- Collaborates with the Director and multiple internal teams to schedule and organize production and post-production.
- Sets up and operates various production equipment, including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production.
- Implements stakeholder feedback and creates polished revisions.
- Maintains videography, photography, and editing equipment.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in DSLR videography and lighting
- Proficient in Adobe CC software (Premiere Pro, AE, Photoshop)
- Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics is a plus
- Possesses an online portfolio of video samples, demonstrating skill and creativity in video shooting, editing, and effects.
- Experience in lighting sit-down interviews.
- Able to shoot in a variety of settings and environments.
- Knowledge of audio production and lighting
- Feels comfortable around dogs.
- Ability to make subjects feel at ease.
- Enough patience to wait for the perfect shot.
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
- Knowledge of formats and codecs exports

Experience:
At least 5 years’ experience in video production, film, communications, preferably in documentary or storytelling style.
At least 2 years’ experience capturing still images.
Computer Skills:
The following computer skills are required to perform essential duties of the job:
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite applications
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud
- Proficient in the use of Learning Management System platforms
- Proficient in the use of Curriculum Development tools
- Adept computer and technology skills
- Knowledge of HTML is preferred
- Ability to maintain a digital portfolio, archiving, and managing imagery
