Responsibilities:

• Providing the highest level of customer service to EdVenture’s visitors.
• Ensuring exhibit areas are re-set between visitor interactions.
• Interacting with visitors to enhance their play and learning experience.
• Operating admission procedures to include checking-in visitors, handling gift shop sales, and opening and closing register till.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the exhibits, common areas, and restrooms.
• Assisting with the delivery of monthly lab programs.
• Gently reminding visitors of safety concerns and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must enjoy engaging with children and families.
• Keen listener with ability to address visitor concerns and de-escalate issues.
• Must have a commitment to diversity and work as a team player.
• Exhibit a positive and friendly demeanor and maintain a professional appearance.
• High School diploma, preferred.
• Experience in guest services, education or museum operations strongly preferred.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekends as needed
