Visitor Research Analyst - Museum evaluates and researches visitor experiences, learning, exhibition, program etc. Utilizes findings to inform appropriate exhibit and improve museum program development. Prepares visitors reports and technical papers to suggest enhanced innovative learning environments for museum. Being a Visitor Research Analyst - Museum requires a master's degree of social science or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. The Visitor Research Analyst - Museum gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Research Accounts Analyst - Gibbs Research Institute

  • Position Summary

    Responsible for accurate accounting of all research accounts receivable and payables. This position will be responsible for performing a complete Medicare Coverage Analysis for each identified research study to promote and confirm compliance with Medicare’s general billing rules and regulations. Additionally, this position will serve as an expert and perform a pre-review for feasibility to conduct the study utilizing extensive knowledge of billing rules and regulations as well as federal, state, and local laws related to research.  The analyst will collaborate with other research staff and the Research Division Director on research related billing practices. This position will report to the Research and Finance Contracts Manager and will work closely with the Business Office, patient financial services and the research team.

     

    Minimum Requirements

    Education           

    • High School Diploma or GED

    Experience        

    • 2-5 years Clinical Research Experience

    License/Registration/Certifications       

    • Certification in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC) required within 3 years of date of hire

     

    Preferred Requirements

    Preferred Education      

    • Associate’s Degree

    Preferred Experience   

    • N/A

    Preferred License/Registration/Certifications   

    • Certification in Clinical Research (CCRP, CCRC, etc.)

     

    Core Job Responsibilities

    • Familiarity with medical terminology.           
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software Suite
    • Proficiency with Database management        
    • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
    • Excellent telephone skills.                                 
    • Familiarity with office automation equipment (calculator, fax, computer, copy machine, scanner, overhead projector)
