Voice Communications Manager is responsible for managing the policies and procedures of voice communications. Ensures uninterrupted access to all voice telecommunication features including voicemail, ACD or PBX systems. Being a Voice Communications Manager oversees the design and implementation of voice telecommunications networks. Selects vendors and negotiates contracts. Additionally, Voice Communications Manager reviews reports on system specifications in support of system upgrades and makes final decision regarding updates. Involved in long-range or strategic voice communications plans. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. The Voice Communications Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Voice Communications Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • The Project Manager – Construction manages the full construction project lifecycle, from initial project planning phases through completion. Acts as a liaison between the client and project team members regarding changes or problems. Coordinates all direct communication with client and contractors.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversees all local operations in the assigned market, including supervision of employees and contractors to organize and ensure quality of work for fiber drops (aerial and underground), as well as in-home installations.
    • Coordinates project resources and tracks project progress against established timelines and schedules.
    • Tracks project progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators and prepares and delivers reports to management.
    • Acts as a liaison between the client and project team members regarding changes or problems.
    • Selects, negotiates with, and coordinates the work of vendors, contractors, or sub-contractors.

    Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience. Requires 1 years of Telecommunications installation experience, and in leadership positions. Fiber drop installation experience preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand, walk, sit
    • Ability to use hands to handle or feet
    • Ability to reach with hands and arms
    • Ability to climb and balance
    • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
    • Ability to lift up to 75lbs
    • Ability to maintain all safety expectations
    • Ability to drive covered vehicle
