Motivates and inspires volunteers to encourage teamwork. Additionally, Volunteer Coordinator - Hospice ensures that the activities of the volunteer workers meet the needs of the organization. Moments Hospice has an exciting opportunity for a Volunteer Coordinator to work in the field in the covering Appleton, Green Bay and Sheboygan
Expectations:
· Responsible to make introductions of volunteers to patients
· Speaking engagements (1 per week)
· 35-40 touch points in the community per week
o Churches/Synagogues/Temples
o Senior Centers
o Rotary Clubs
o Civic Groups
o Groups such as Elks Club
o Colleges/Universities/Tech schools
o VFWs/American Legions
o Assisted and Independent Living facilities
o Other community organizations
· Post flyers
· Attend job fairs
· Holding volunteer requirement events
· Passing out recruitment materials
· Must be available for evening and weekend activities (as required)
· Expectation to be out in the community and not in office
Quota:
· 20 volunteer applications completed for assigned territory per month
· At least 10% of applications must convert into an active volunteer.
