Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager jobs in Oklahoma
Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager supervises the operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant to ensure compliance with regulatory procedures and reporting practices. Oversees sampling and testing systems, and the testing and maintenance of pumps, conveyors, blowers, and other equipment. Being a Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager ensures staff is up-to-date with all federal, state, and local regulations and environmental guidelines. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or other tech degree. Additionally, Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager typically reports to a manager or director. The Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Role Title: Waste Water Plant Manager
Reporting to: Operations Director
Line Management responsibility for: All yard personnel
Role Description:
The position reports functionally in to the Operations Director.
Tasks for the role include:
- Managing the operations of the waste water plant and all personnel.
- Ensuring personnel adhere to HCL policies on timekeeping, sickness reporting and any other relevant procedures.
- Effective and efficient utilisation of all personnel and equipment
- Ensuring all equipment is clean and in working order at all times.
- Undertaking light maintenance of machinery, reporting defects to the Operations Director in a timely manner.
- Ensuring personnel and visitors are compliant with HSE requirements.
- Providing and maintaining full written weekly reports as required under current legislation.
- Responsible for the tidiness of the site at all times.
- Liaising with HR on any disciplinary, performance or recruitment issues.
- Willing to sit WAMITAB professional qualification.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- CSCS card
- Full UK Driving Licence
