Web Product Management Director manages the lifecycle of new technology products or feature enhancements. Researches and develops the roadmap for new products or feature enhancements and plans and oversees the product lifecycle. Being a Web Product Management Director gathers insights from customers and the marketplace to understand needs, new technologies, and trends in the market. Guides the conceptualization, requirements gathering, specification creation, release, and implementation processes. Additionally, Web Product Management Director ensures that product delivery schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development are coordinated with stakeholders to successfully release new products on time and within budget. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Web Product Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Web Product Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. This part time associate samples products for suppliers within a Sams Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new and exciting items and brands by conducting product tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations.
Responsibilities
Engaging customers to communicate key points about products.
Ensuring compliance with food safety requirements while preparing samples (cook, process, plate, serve).
Working with the team to achieve sales goals for the products.
Qualifications
Must be 16 years of age (Alcohol and Production requires 18 )
Weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays & weekday work available
Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on days worked
The ability to safely use appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate)
The ability to stand to perform the event for the duration of the event
We welcome applicants without a high school or college degree, have no experience or are returning to the workforce and / or have military experience.
We provide comprehensive online and / or on-the-job training to get you working quickly.
Work Environment
Moderate to high noise levels associated with a retail grocery warehouse environment. Some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products and cleaning chemicals.
