Website Manager manages the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the organization's websites. Oversees changes in the site's technical architecture to ensure that the website remains responsive and stable. Being a Website Manager manages the maintenance and troubleshooting of related hardware and software and ensures that web administrators comply with established standards and specifications. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Website Manager typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Website Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Warehouse Manager

  • Summary of Position:

    Manage, plan, implement, and monitor the warehouse operations. This includes but is not limited to supervising warehouse personnel and delivery drivers, scheduling delivery routes, shipping, receiving, organizing warehouse, fulfilling orders, and using/maintaining the warehouse and yard.

    This position requires a high-level of initiated and timely communication with employees and vendors to ensure deliverables to project sites in a safe and timely manner. This includes collaboration and communication with the fabrication shops, project management team, field leadership, and vendors to support both office and field operations.

    Strong emphasis on ensuring that maximum productivity is maintained in the field by utilizing warehouse staff to receive and procure materials including delivery to work sites.

     

    Specific Job Duties:

     

    • Maintain receiving, shipping, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
    • Establish and monitor inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system.
    • Provides up to date status reports pertaining to orders, receivables, shipments, inventory levels, tools, and equipment.
    • Oversee tool and equipment tracking, repair, and rental program.
    • Oversee waste management program to include but not limited to trash, recyclables, scrap metals, refrigerants, hazardous materials, etc.
    • Oversee and manage inventory, receivables, and deliveries.
    • Generates and maintains records related to received equipment and materials to avoid misplacing or delivery to wrong site.
    • Ensure strategic sourcing, forecasting, and proper lead time for materials and equipment.
    • Communicate regularly with construction and service staff in order to notify them of any issues early so employees will be aware of problems associated with procurement of materials or delivery of equipment.
    • Maintain warehouse staff by selecting, orienting, and training employees.
    • Manage warehouse staff to include disciplinary action when required. Perform annual evaluations of warehouse staff.
    • Ensure compliance with the Company Safety Program, OSHA, DOT in order to provide a safe working environment for employees.
    • Order rental equipment as required for projects. Maintain a log weekly of equipment currently rented indicating location of equipment and current rental price.
    • Attend weekly meetings to review current status of delivery needs as well as equipment rental requirements.
    • Interact with field supervisor, superintendents, and foreman and perform annual evaluations of the employees. This will include performance assessment, identification of career goals, and help the employee achieve their potential career goals.
    • Additional duties may be assigned and required above and beyond duties listed.

     

     

    Qualifications:

    Preferred Education and/or Experience:

    • Five years management / supervisory experience of warehouse operations
    • Prior experience with shipping, receiving and inventory control
    • Logistics degree
    • Working knowledge of construction supply chain management
    • Knowledge of the construction industry, OSHA, and relevant safety practices
    • Operating experience in procurement, safety, fleet, and pre-task planning
    • Familiarization with bar-coding and process controls

     

    Required Computer Skills:

    • Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Experience with accounting and inventory management software

    • Demonstrate integrity, honesty, professionalism, and commitment to company values.
    • Build and maintain positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees, management, suppliers, and customers.
    • Make sound logistical decisions to produce accurate and timely results, keeping field productivity, and budgetary constraints in mind.
    • Communicate and coordinate with managers, fabrication shops, and field teams to achieve a successful job/project outcome.
    • Maintain DOT & NC State compliance for commercial vehicles, trailers, and drivers.
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory, tools, equipment, recyclables, and hazardous materials.
    • Possess a valid NC Class C Driver’s License (at minimum).
    • Work in office (on site) a minimum of 45 hours/week with the ability to conduct inventory counts and manage phone calls after hours.
    • Ability to occasionally travel to job sites, Wilmington branch, and corporate meetings when necessary.

The employee may occasionally lift, push, pull, and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to stay on their feet for most of an 8-hour shift, as tasks require. Overtime may require longer periods of standing.
