The Camden City School District is at an exciting time in the continuous development of our school district and its support operations. We currently have an opening for a Website Manager. This position reports to the Director of Social Media and Public Information and will lead the District’s marketing and rebranding efforts using media and digital tools. Specifically, the Web Manager will design, develop, maintain and troubleshoot websites at the District and school levels. Most importantly, they will ensure a safe and efficient user experience. This may include implementing security protocols, modifying programs, creating backups, resolving software problems, updating content and more.
If you can handle various online marketing tools efficiently and creatively including websites, infographics, videos, podcasts and blogs? this position is for you. You will work with a strong communications team to coordinate marketing? advertising and promotional activities. Your goal is to increase stakeholder engagement, increase district digital visibility, and promote our people, policies, and programs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design websites and digital media campaigns that align with the goals of our District
• Coordinate and support the creation of digital content in various forms (e.g. website? blogs? infographics, videos and podcasts)
• Manage digital projects end-to-end
• Establish our web presence and boost brand awareness by doing so
• Communicate effectively with the Office of Communications, Information Technology, the Division of Talent and Labor Relations (DTLR), all schools and support teams in ensuring brand consistency
• Stay up-to-date with digital media developments

Requirements include:

• Proven work experience as a Website Designer, Digital Media Specialist or Digital Marketing Manager or comparable role
• Skillful knowledge of WordPress, Photoshop, Adobe, Final Cut Pro? Premiere Pro? Audacity and/or other media editing software
• Experience with visual communication principles
• Familiarity with content management systems
• Familiarity with web design and principals
• Outstanding analytical and project management skills
• Be able to multitask and work under tight deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or relevant field
• Additional qualifications in web design or animation is desirable

Position will require in office work and remote work, sometimes outside of typical business hours and weekends.

Salary Range: $75k - $88K
